Do not use harsh soap in cleaning because it can lead to skin irritation that can cause hemmoroids.
· Lose weight if you are overweight and have regular exercise to prevent causes of hemmoroids.
· Increase intake of fiber in your daily diet. A high fiber diet is necessary for healthy bowel movements and is one of the best ways to prevent causes of hemmoroids. Vegetables, wheat bran and fresh fruits are good sources of dietary fiber. A fiber replacement can also help, but it is important to start gradually to avoid bloating and diarrhea or you may ask your doctor for time frame of using fiber replacement.
· Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. You can drink plenty of fluids to help soften the stool and prevent constipation as one major causes of hemmoroids. Water help in softer, bulkier stools. A softer stool makes emptying the bowels easier and lessens the pressure on hemmoroids caused by straining.
